Timm has more than 20 years of investment banking and investing experience. Before joining PWP, he set up and scaled the EMEA franchise at FT Partners – a FinTech focused investment bank – as managing director, advising numerous clients on capital raises or sellsides, including Checkout, Currencycloud, GoCardless, Payworks and Tide. Prior to that, he was a venture and growth equity investor with leading global VC firm Index Ventures. Timm started his career with 11 years at Morgan Stanley in its European Tech Investment Banking Group advising companies such as Adyen, Klarna and Zalando.
